Ruu came to us in May 2004 when she was just a small red bundle from the north. That little red bundle grew into a brave, frisky, intelligent, open and beautiful young lady which took her place in our lives and in our family. She loves everybody straight from her heart: people, dogs, children and specially her family. Now that she has taken on the "big sister role" she has matured and clamed down but there is always time for little playing or running game... Ruu was meant to have a litter in 2006/2007 but the finding of hereditary cataract in her eyes stopped those plans. Even is she wasn´t meant to be our foundation bitch she will stay with us and show good example to all of the pharaoh hounds that will follow and bring joy, humor and above all, love, into our family. In the future she will probably not be shown as much as she gained her championship titles which is enough for me. But I suspect that she will be seen in the Junior Handler rings with her "own" handler - she still loves being in the ring and being the center of the attention! I will continue in the coursing world with her and I hope she will do as well as in the show rings - at least she has the enthusiasm, determination and a strong instincts for it!
